Hello everyone!
My first sheet metal project after I started using SW was to create the attached drip pan ("Assembly" attachment). We were under a time crunch, and I didn't really know what I was doing. At any rate, I ended up making two pieces, they were jetted out, and the shop guys put it together, telling me that it was "good enough." Thank goodness they could make it work. I never was satisfied with how I did on my end (after all, I was supposed to take out the guess work!)...
If I did it again, I would use loft, shell, convert to sheet metal ("Test" attachment). What would you seasoned sheet metal guys would do? Lastly, I still would like to know how to maintain the drip hole; the dimensions of the top are 85"x59", and the bottom are 4"x13", depth is 16". Is it possible that the top dimensions be outermost and the bottom dimensions be innermost?
