I have scanned a knee prosthesis, and used the cloud point data in solidworks to then produce a full solid model. I came about the mesh wizard feature, and one of the options during the process, is to use either 'hybrid' 'curvature' or 'uniform' when it attempts to reduce some of the points. I found that when i used uniform i got the best results, yet was unsure why, and what are the difference between the three?
