When opening a Step file, I have Solidworks set so that multiple bodies are imported as parts.  Can SW be set to make any parts/sub-assemblies generated by the step file virtual by default?

The long-winded way I have to do this currently is open the Step file as normal, save the resulting imported files, highlight all in the tree and select  "Make Virtual", save the assembly again, then delete the redundant part/sub-assembly files.  When a typical Step file can generate in excess off 2000 parts/sub-assemblies, doing this all manually is a very time consuming process.
