This is probably the dumbest question ever!

For long, i have enjoyed the sliding toolbar on the right of the screen ( containing appearances, drawing views, toolbox).. which i dont even remember what its called... without knowing how to insert it or get rid of it... its always been there....

All a sudden, it does not appear anymore... any tips?
