Please advise me.
I like to create a macro in VB.NET with Visual Studio 2015 who launches a user form on top of Solidworks 2015 filled with data from Solidworks and wait for some user input.
How to fire the VB.NET macro using a macro button ?
It's possible to connect the macro button to a dll file but when I try Solidworks let me know 'can't open the file'.
In VBA it's pretty easy to do, with VB.NET I don't know how.
In Visual Studio I've tried to start a Class library with some code, save and build and next use that dll file.
I can't find such examples, are they available ?
Is it possible to use Visual Studio 2015 ?
When I record a VB.NET macro and edit trough Solidworks Visual Studio 2005 is used.
When I try to open the recorded macro with Visual Studio 2015 I get a message like:
Unsupported
This version of Visual Studio is unable to open the following projects. The project types may not be installed or this version of Visual Studio may not support them.

Visual Studio will automatically make functional changes to the following projects in order to open them. You will not be able to open these projects in the version of Visual Studio in which they were originally created.
