I noticed there was a solution to SW2013 with Excel2013, but I didn't see any info on how to grab data from Excel 2016.

I'm trying to quickly create series of sketches, and if I can pull the data straight from an excel sheet that I built with Matlab the process will be much faster. Does anyone have example code on how to access Excel 2016 through the macro code?

Better yet, is there a way I can just run an equation in the macro code to do the same thing my Excel would give?
