Upgraded from 2021 products to 2024 SP5, users experiencing issues

We upgraded from 2021 PDM Pro and Solidworks to 2024 SP5. I built the admin images (2 Hotfixes included), and they were pushed out to our users using Tanium. Users installed via an app called Self Service. We did not uninstall 2021. But I've received feedback from our VAR on how to properly remove 2021. And I'm in the process of documenting that for users - then share with them. For PDM 2024, I got a report of these issues today from 2 users, some I can recreate:

  1. Double click (or right click, Open) Swx file in PDM, does not open in Swx 2024. Not seen this before.
  2. Check-out file in PDM, shows as read-only in Swx 2024. I've seen this for years, multiple companies. I know there's a setting in Swx Options | Collaboration, but this setting does not "stick", therefore you have to set this every time. @ users reported this, but things worked okay for me when I tested. However, this seems unintuitive. Are you familiar with this issue? Suggestions/Resolution?
  3. The Checked Out By column in PDM changes format from "account.name" to "ACCOUNT.NAME" (Or "User Name"). I've seen this for years, at different companies. Just surprised never fixed.
  4. For one group, I added the "Change State" icon to the Quick Actions toolbar in PDM. When I did this, it trashed the right-click menu (image below), some icons and text disappeared. When I reset t tohe quick access toolbar, things returned to normal behavior. Wow.

Have you experienced these or what other issues with 2024 SP5? Was hoping for stability but know there's always something. Just all this?
