I've reached a point where, after trial and error by removing mates, I'm on my knees, unable to figure out what the hell is happening here. Just a plain door with a hinge connected to a block of timber which I made fixed. Neither the door nor the hinge are fixed, but even so, I'm unable to rotate the door. The only way I have to rotate the door is to manually change the angle mate between the hinge's plates (suppressed now). The fun fact about this is that, by itself, the hinge plates move fine as a separate assembly.
I've had to literally create a new assembly to isolate both components (pics below) to make sure there are no other components affecting it.
The door is part of a bigger architectural project for a client of mine. I've used SW for over 7 years now and puzzled. Thxs for any help I can receive.
