I am looking for a way to have the assembly for which I am doing a drawing to appears in the bom, on top of its component.
Lets say I have an assembly number 12345 with 3 parts. The SoliWorks BOM will look like this before you answer my question:

|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1000001 | THIS COMPONENT | 1 |
| 2 | 1000002 | THIS OTHER COMPONENT | 1 |
| 3 | 1000003 | SOME FASTENERS | 4 |
However, I wonder if it is possible for the first line to be referring the assembly itself. This would give:
| ITEM NO | PART NUMBER | DESCRIPTION | QTY |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1000000 | THE ASSEMBLY ITSELF | N/A |
| 2 | 1000001 | THIS COMPONENT | 1 |
| 3 | 1000002 | THIS OTHER COMPONENT | 1 |
| 4 | 1000003 | SOME FASTENERS | 4 |
This would be sort of indented but including the assembly itself.
Can it be done?
