Are there anyone who have made a task, where you open af file in an program which is not a partner product to solidworks and then save as PDF?

I can find information about customizing the convert to PDF task, but it is all regarding Solidworks files or office files.

Our electrical department uses a program (PcSchematics), which is not supported by PDM. I would like to make a task to convert to PDF, so that I can put it into the workflow.  

I am not a programmer, so I was hoping to find something I could copy and modify.
