This is a Tap Bit. To place a tapering feature to thread, Revolve-Cut is used for a part of thread (70 degree & 5 degree) and circular pattern tool is used to have it copied. Part file is attached.
I wish to know why Cut-Revolve (360 degree. 2nd picture) is not used to create tapering feature for all threads at one shot.
