SolidWorks Premium (x64) 2013 SP 4
Windows 7 Enterprise (x64)
HP Z400 workstation w/NVIDIA Quadro FX 4800
Of all the machines upgraded from SW2012 to SW2013, this one machine is displaying the error message (at SolidWorks startup) "swVBAServer has stopped working". The only option is to "Close Program". It comes up several times, before SolidWorks finishes launching. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, both from our administrative image, and directly from the SolidWorks website. Most recently, I uninstalled and selected to remove registry entries from the Advanced Options.
Suspecting a profile issue, I logged on as myself, and I still get the same error message.
The event log (Application Log) on that machine reported the following:
Faulting application name: swvbaserver.exe, version: 21.4.0.70, time stamp: 0x51d8dedf
Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00000000
Faulting process id: 0xfd0
Faulting application start time: 0x01ce9f50b238e872
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\swVBAServer\swvbaserver.exe
Faulting module path: unknown
Report Id: eff3bb5a-0b43-11e3-adf4-78acc098e513
Accorting to the user at that station, no other new software has been installed. There is only one copy of swvbaserver.exe on that machine (in C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\swVBAServer\). I checked the size and timestamp of swVBAClient.tlb, swvbaserver.exe and swVBAServer.tlb against mine, and they match.
The only cases of this problem I can fine on the Internet, either point to MS Office 2007, or the symptoms don't quite match. We are running MS Office 2010, and that hasn't changed for the past year - short of any security updates. The knowledge base here reportes it for SW2008 and SW2010, but that information was not helpful.
I'm open for suggestions.
