Let's say my part's units are inches, but I want to specify the depth of a Boss-Extrude or Cut-Extrude in millimeters. In past versions I could simply type in "10mm" for the depth. Easy! Now, in 2013, I have to type the number, then hover over the Units tab to open that menu and choose my units.
Why o why o why? For many of us, mouse motion and clicking is painful and/or imprecise. This change is a big step backwards in ergonomics.
I can understand that if I wanted to specify the depth in furlongs, I might not know an abbreviation that SW would understand. But 99% of the time it's either "in" or "mm".
Please tell me there's an option I can set to revert to the old style of specifying units, where I can simply type them in. Please!
