I want to model a shape that is similar to twisting a paper strip (see image). I already tried to model it with boundary surfaces, lofts, sweeps, almost everything, but with all these features the width of the strip changes along its path. In other words, all features allow me to model a shape that looks like a twisted paper strip, yet without the constant width. It looks so simple, but it drives me nuts. I really have no idea how to model this shape, in order to have a constant width along its path. Anyone has a any tips or ideas how to model this shape? I also attached the SWS file, maybe this makes my question a bit more clear or you can see the approaches I tried (please note the sketches 'distance' and 'distance 2', which are not the same as the distances at the beginning and end of the surface).
