I am trying to simulate a shaft supported by two bearings. I amcurrently modeling the bearing interaction with remote loads. I dothis by constraining all translation DOF and allowing motion in allrotations. I would like to add stiffness to the different DOF sothat the results from a different simulation could be included. Isthere any way that I could add stiffness to a remote load?
Need to be able to apply different stiffness for each DOFincluding the rotational ones.
If remote loads are not the right approach is there any other way Icould include the stiffness in to the model
