I thought this seemed basic but searching didn't turn up much.  I'm at a new company and find myself setting up a new format and titleblock.  You know the normal x.xx = ± 0.01  and x.xxx = ±0.005 note that are on most titleblocks.  Sometimes I have needed to change some of these values so I don't want to hard code (text without link) it in my titleblock as the values shown here.  I'm tempted to put a custom property in my current model and later save it to my 'start part' template called tol_2_place and tol_3_place or something like that and just link it to the titleblock.  What is the optimal way to do this?
