Soldiworks Electrical "insert connector" glitch after software update

FYI, I think I found a glitch after updating from 2025 (not sure the last service pack I had) to 2026.1.1.

It happens when you try to insert a connector. The insert connector command seizes up and you can't do anything in the program at that point.

I figured out it has to do with the "select configuration" field being empty. Guessing that field resets to empty after the update.

I escaped the seized-up command by right-clicking the Solidworks icon at the bottom in Windows and selecting "close window". Then it allowed me to move the cursor and click on things like normal. I eventually figured out I need to change the configuration from empty to "one symbol per pin" (which was my default selection before the update). I didn't encounter the glitch again after that. Again, this is fixed for me but just wanted to document the bug for anyone else that encounters it or for getting it fixed.
