I'm running Solidworks 2015 x64 with SP 4.0

Processor Intel Core i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20 GHz

Ram 32 GB

Graphics Card NVIDIA Quadro 4000 (Current Driver 354.56 recently updated)

The system lags regardless of what size the assembly I'm working with, obviously when working with larger assembly (1300 parts) I understand it will take more time, but even with a piping spool of 9 parts it takes 30-45 seconds to open, save, rebuild, take measurements, etc. I've reduced my image quality to low(faster) which helped a bit in the beginning but now it seems its just as slow. Everything is being saved on the computer directly nothing is being pulled from a server location. 

The only time it really doesn't lag is with a single part open and that is it.
