Hello,

I am trying to simulate the performance of a carrier used in metal ceilings to carry the panels on it. The carrier is supported with a adjustment clip hanger which is fixed on the concrete ceiling. The problem I am facing is the difference in results I get when I simulate the carrier as a single part and when I simulate the carrier and the hanger as an assembly. The results dont compliment each other creating a doubt on the boundary conditions used for simulation.

I have attached the images showing the simulation loads, fixtures and the results for the part and the assembly simulation. I have also added an image showing the adjustment clip hanger with the rod for reference.

Can you please suggest which are the ideal loads and fixtures that should be used in such cases.

Any help will be much appreciated.
