Take a look at the picture below. I am trying to simulate the contact force in the socket drive (black) and nut in this assembly. Currently, I have a fixed geometry setting on the inner surface of the nut (simulating locked threads) and roller/slider on the bottom faces of both the nut and socket drive. I defined a global contact setting of no penetration. I then applied a specific torque to the socket drive to see what happened. It isn't showing correct results and appears faulty. Does anybody have some insight on how to perform this simulation? I tried searching but didn't really know what I should be searching for.
