Seems like this should be obvious...

but for the life of me it's not coming to me.

I have a part that in the equations I do a test based on a number entered "A". If "A" is greater than "X", then test to see if "A" smaller than "Y" then use "A" if not use ".1".

That works out fine in the equations.

However what I want to do is have two configurations. I have one dimension. In one configuration I want to use the result in the global variable test above which will either be "A" or .1. In the other configuration I want to use another number, say .5.

I thought this would be simple as I would just go to "Configure dimension" and in one place I would put the global variable and in the other place I would put .5. Turns out however, unless I'm doing something wrong, you can't use global variables in the configuration table.

Then I started thinking about other ways to do it and the only way I came up with was to have two complete different features. One that was directed to the global variable and was unsupressed in the one configuration and visa versa for the other number and configuration.

Then I thought..."That's stupid and complex so I'm going to ask some people that are smarter than me"...and here I am.

Any other ways to skin this cat?
