Seeking a comprehensive list of file extensions that Solidworks supports

Hello Community,

Our IT department wants to migrate our network "home" folders to OneDrive, and I warned them that we need to keep SolidWorks file types off of OneDrive.

In the process of asking/explaining, I realized that what is needed, ideally, is a comprehensive list of all the file extensions that SW uses or might interact with. (Why they are on network drives, "where they should really be", etc., are not important here.)  For now, I just need to be able to classify as one of two categories:

  • Used by SolidWorks, KEEP OUT OF ONEDRIVE
  • NOT used by SolidWorks

There are the obvious ones, "document" types: .sldprt .sldasm .slddrw

Our VAR provided me a link to the help page covering import/export types:

This leaves lots of additional file types.  Templates, sheet formats, blocks, dimension favorites, etc.

I'm hoping the people who write the software can just provide the COMPLETE list.  Thanks in advance!
