Hello everyone, first post here so be gentle! Been using SW for a while now and have run into this problem before, but have always been able to get around it.
In the previous versions I have used (2006 & 2009) I could load up my files with multiple configurations and just cycle through them and save. Then I could reload the parts and cycle through all configurations without a save prompt being thrown.
In 2012 no matter how I try I cannot get my files to not prompt for a save when switching configurations! I load my models and cycle through each configuration, ctrl+q on each one, and save at the end. Next time I load, they load without a save prompt but then once I switch to any other configuration it throws the save prompt! To make things interesting, when I change the configurations of the exact same parts in an assembly it doesn't flag those parts for a save! I must be missing something simple, like some sort of automatic rebuild only on the part level that is causing this headache for me. Can anyone shed some light on this?
I have checked and 'verification on rebuild' is off just in case that was the issue, not sure where else to go from here...
Thanks for any help that can be given...
