Hi,

I am analyzing bearing subjected to temperature, torque & rpm conditions. The bearing is mounted on shaft & shaft is given rpm, the torque is acting on the bearing face.

My question is, which fixture/boundary condition to apply.

I am considering one of the flat face of the shaft as fixed, is this correct.
