Hi, im trying to model a gate, and i want to use rising hinges so it closes itself on release.

so ive modeled the part and inverted on copy ontop of it self, now i want to be able to mate it so that rotates and lifts the gate.

theres 2 hinges one above th eother as in a astandard door/ gate and they are a on a 15 degree lifting hinge.

I cant use a concentric and the faces as it breaks either one.

Ive tried using the  contact faces mated together, i have tried various ways to get this thing to work, planes on the faces mated to sketches and all manner of mates. they just break.

all i want is as the gate opens it lifts the hinge correctly

can anyone help please.
