I would like to have "As Required" in the QTY filed on the BOM for stuff like label, wires, glue etc. Someone told me to add a custom property to the item but when I add the custom property, I have to add another column to the BOM template to show this new custom property. I do not want to add another colum but to have the As Required shows up unter the regular QTY column.

I did a search but came up with API/macro and I have no idea how to create or modify a macro. I can run a macro but that is as far as I can go. Thanks for any help.
