Hey-
I was wondering if I'm alone in my suffering - has anyone else beencrashing PW2009 alot, specifically when saving a rendering -sometimes when saving the preview image, but most times whenrendering to file? It's not all the time, but it seems like over50%. The crashes can occur in the following ways:
1) Hit the save (to file) button and SW disappears - no errormessage no nothing.
2) More frequently, when rendering to file, I switch file typesfrom .bmp (seems to be default) to jpeg, and SW crashes.
Again, it's not all the time, but it seems to happen more oftenthan not. I'm running 64bit SW2009sp2.0 on Vista (I know whatyou're thinking: "THERE'S your problem!), 8GB RAM, and approvedcard (nvidia quadro fx570 - not the fastest but should be stable).
Another annoying thing I'm noticing is that SW is not saving all mymaterials on one file in particular (background that I built andcopies of it I hve made). I have tried normal save, I have triedturning on "save materials in SW file", and one wall and the flooralways lose their material (custom materials in a custom library ona local drive) and default to the default plastic so I have to addit again.
I'm wrapping up a big rendering project now and will submit a SR toSW when I'm done, but in the meantime I figured I'd poll the peanutgallery.
Thanks,
