Hi I am new user in SW. I have been working as mechanicaldesigner for many years. And recently I decided to learn SW. So farI have no problem to draw parts and to assemble parts withoutmotion checking. But when it comes to motion I am dead.
I have many many sub assemblies with pneumatic cylinders mounted. And each cylinders are able to move freely in individual subassemblies. However when I insert them in another assembly, thecylinders are fixed and unable to move anymore. That constrains ourworks, and I am finding it not easy to use. I hope SW will improveto make this one possible.
The software suppose to read our mind. We should be spending lesstime to learn how to use it. And also all the parts must be able tomove as if it is real and solid. Now if you move a part it will gothrough another part. That makes us hard to simulate our motion. Our work have little time, we can't afford to spend more time justto move a cylinder and do motion checking.
The reason why I upgrade to SW is because I thought SW will do allthe things I want. But I am finding the assembly still have a lotto improve.
Another thing is the tap holes with callouts, there are everywherewhen I flip the parts to the back. Why can't they be hidden ?What's wrong with the callout of tap holes ?
Can anybody assist me with my problems? ThanksSolidworksAssemblies
