I'm having issues with 2D axisymmetric thermal simulations, in particular when I try to use surface to surface radiation with closed systems (without heat exchange with ambient). I get inconsistent results in comparison both with analytical calculation and also with the same model using the 3D configuration within the Solidworks environment.

I tried to compare the 3D results also with the results obtained using other software and it gives very similar results while the 2D axisymmetric is completely different.

Anyone else have encountered the same problems? If yes, is there a way to fix it or it is a bug of the system?

N.B. I'm using the Solidworks version: 2019 sp05.
