While trying to use the Measure tool in SolidWorks 2013-2014 Student Edition I keep receiving an error that starts with "Please enable sketch edit mode to obtain proper pick point for 3dSketches.File:",  when trying to measure the distanc between 2 points within a part or model.  I have never had this error in any past versions of SolidWorks, only when upgrading to the new student version did this error start occruing.  Does anybody know how to fix this so I can measure items without beingin sketch edit mode?
