Suppose an assembly has two parts, a pipe and an angle ironof equal lengths. Let the pipe be fully defined. Let the angle ironbe defined as two equal length perpendicular sides of undefinedlength.
Now, suppose the design intent is to have two edges of the angleiron in contact with the pipe and a face of the angle tangent tothe pipe surface. This should determine the lengths of the angleiron sides.
How can I define a relationship between the parts so that the angleiron sides will resize when the pipe diameter is changed?
I tried doing it with mates, but SW9 will not resize the angle ironor allow the mate. It treats the angle iron as a fully definedpart.
