Permission Request to Use SolidWorks Logo in Personal Brand Identity

Dear SolidWorks Team,

My name is Wisdom Robinson, and I am a student and 3D modeling enthusiast who actively uses SolidWorks to create mechanical and engineering-based design projects.

As part of building my personal portfolio and brand, I recently created a logo for my online presence under the name MechaModella. Since SolidWorks is the primary tool I use for all my modeling work, I incorporated the SolidWorks logo into this design to highlight the software behind my creations.

I’ve begun using this logo across my social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok) to showcase my work and build a following.

These are the accounts;

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@MechaModella

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mechamodella

Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mechamodella

However, I want to emphasize that I am not earning any income from these platforms at this time, and there is no intent to suggest any official affiliation or endorsement by SolidWorks. My use of the logo is purely to represent the software that powers my designs.

That said, I deeply respect your brand and intellectual property, and I am now reaching out to request formal permission to continue using the SolidWorks logo as part of my MechaModella brand identity for non-commercial, educational, and showcase purposes. I would also be grateful if you could let me know of any specific usage guidelines I should follow.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.

Warm regards,

Wisdom Robinson.
