Background:
I have a drawing of four parts, each controlled by equations linked to a separate external file. These same four parts are manufactured repetitively with small changes to dimensions. I have written and Excel macro that allows our techs to change a few numbers in a spreadsheet and the macro will create a new drawing with the updated dimensions of each part and uses Pack and Go to save the new part files, drawing files, and the external files that the equations are linked to to a new folder.
Problem:
Say my parts are called 1, 2, 3, and 4 and their respective linked equation .txt files are A, B, C, and D, when I use Pack and Go to save the files it saves 1,2,3,4,A,B,C,D, and the drawing to the new folder as it should. The issue is for some unknown reason the equations in 1, 2, 3, and 4 are all now linked to external .txt file D. The original "template" files all still have their correct links and if I save each file individually the links are maintained.
Any ideas whats going on?
