I recently uninstalled solidworks 2010 after running it parallel with 2012 for several months. I now am unable to open files from windows explorer by double clicking or pushing enter. I have already checked to see the settings in my solidworks options and nothing seems to relate. I cannot set the default program to solidworks because that only makes the files open in a separate instance and not in the opened solidworks process. I have already tried to check the registry settings regarding sldwinshellextu.dll according to another forum's advice but it seems hopeless.. PLEASE ADVISE a direction since this is really annoying and I am even considering a fresh reinstall of SW2012...
