I open a subassembly.  I have write access.  Someone else opens another assembly which contains my subassembly.  I still have write access to my subassembly, but I lose write access to all the parts in my subassembly.  So now we're in a condition to where one designer has access to an assembly but can't edit the parts, and the other designer has access to the parts but can't edit the assembly.  I thought that maybe it has do with whether or not my parts are opened lightweight, but that isn't the case.  Does anyone know how to fix this other than to get the other designer to give me write access to each and every part?
