I have either missed out on a new way of doing this is or there is a bug in editing design tables to add a configuration of a part. What's funny is that sometimes I can do it and other times I cannot.
What I used to be able to do is RMB on the design table in the configuration manager of a part and choose edit table. I would add the new parameters for a new configuration(s) and when I am finished I click outside the table. This closes the table and back when this was working I would get a message telling me that new configuration(s) had been created. Now I sometimes get the message but often do not and no new configuration is created.
I can go back and edit the table again and the new data I entered is there. There are not any blank rows in the table and I can see where I successfully added configurations before but the most recent one does not get added.
I could not find any mention of this specific issue, but did notice that many people seem to be having problems with configurations. Any advice on a workaround or confirmation of this issue would be appreciated. Thanks. SW2009-64, sp4.1 on Vista 64.
