Hi, need a bit of advice as to which CPU and GPU I should buy. I'm putting together a computer for my brother, but I'm not quite sure as to how powerful his machine needs to be.

He's just starting to learn SolidWorks, but he figures he'll be working with assemblies that features 50-200 parts, and sometimes more than this.

Price range around 15-16-17-1800\$

I'm looking at the i7-4790K or would the i5-4690K do a good enough job? And spend the money "saved" on a better GPU?

Would a FirePro v4900/W4100/W2100 or Quadro K600/K620 be good enough?

Or should I go for more expensive options like W5000/5100/7000, v7900, and the same pricerange Quadros?
