Does anyone have experience with running Solidworks off of a CAD server for multiple users?

My plan is to have a CAD server/workstation that will be attached to our network that my team will be able to log in via Windows Remote Desktop when needed.

The server will also serve as our central storage location.

Currently we have a bunch of under-powered laptops that have a hard time running our assemblies. For parts and smaller sub assemblies we dont really have a problem. But when making drawings for larger assemblies we deal with alot of stability issues due to low ram.

Thoughts?

Experience?
