Hello;
Just wondering how some users organize their drawing sheets. I have around a 4 or 5 D size sheet job. The assy, then 4 more detail shts probably.
I've done a similar job were I create additional sheets within that same file & do all 5 shts in one file. I was going to try a another job with 5 separate drawing files and see how that goes. One problem I've seen already though, is the linked property name will call the file what you save it as, so it includes the sheet no. if i save them as the name with their sheet nos.. Like I want it to say T-5432, not T-5432 SHT 1. Then you just say whatever sheet no. it is in the drawing. On the other hand you have to give each file a different name as to not over write the other file.
How would you keep the same file name for the drawing no. & not overwrite the other files, but keep a simple folder system in the process?
Also what is standard, & better practice in these areas?
Thks for any help in advance;
