Motion Analysis Providing Unexpected Results

I have setup a simple motion analysis to simulate a snap ring being pulled out of a shaft and I am trying to figure out the force required. I have a simulation on the snap ring by itself to calculate how much force is required to compress the ring and then performed a vector analysis to estimate a pull force based on the contact angle. I have not validated this approach because it also ignores friction so I wanted to try a motion analysis. Unfortunately my stress results are way lower than I expected and my resultant pull force is 0. Can someone take a look at my analysis and maybe provide some insight on what I am missing? I don't think this is beyond SolidWorks' capabilities. This is in SW2015 SP5 Premium. Thank you.
