Is it possible to use a mate reference when creating a derived part? My goal is to add Pem Fasteners (from a Design Library that has Mate Reference) to a part but do not want to create an assembly so I'm using derived part option and create a multi-body part but I want to locate the pem nut to the part as you would do when inserting a smart component. Is this possible? Currently I am inserting each pem nut and have to locate each one by using the locate part with Move_Copy Feature. Is there an easier way to do this? Pattern is not an option.
