Macro to draw arrows

Lately I'm finding myself creating a lot of fixturing for our E&M department and for the labeling fixtures I put an arrow in the target corner to assist the operators.

I pilfered Bernie Daraz's cool arrow design and added another line to almost close it. Was much easier (and better looking IMO) than the manual stick ones I made the first time.

Now I'd like to place this in a part several times at different angles so I can extrude it out an have an engraved cavity. Being the lazy efficient hack that I am my mind wandered to a macro that would draw an arrow, at a user-given angle, using a point in a sketch as the origin but I'm not sure how to go about it. Heck, to be honest I couldn't even get it imported into the correct plane so far.

I've done a lot of macros for excel and done some computer programming but not much with Solidworks API so I'm not sure I can tackle this. If there's already something floating around that creates geometry or imports parts and places them based on user input I'd be mighty grateful if you'd share.

I can do a lot of basic tweaks to existing stuff but wouldn't know how to go about doing it from scratch. TYIA
