I'm trying to figure out how to create an assembly drawing template that will automatically populate part properties in the notes.  These will be mostly sheetmetal parts with some PEM hardware.  I want the notes to be able to call out the material and finish I've set in the base part (not the hardware parts).  I know I can set that in the custom properties in the assembly but that's not what I'm interested in.  How can I use "SW-Material@Some_SolidWorks_Part.SLDPRT" in a drawing template and have Some_SolidWorks_Part.SLDPRT update automatically to whatever the part is?  I realize Some_SolidWorks_Part.SLDPRT would need to be a variable but what variable (assuming this is possible).
