Hi

I've been trying for a while to put spikes around a cylinder..

So first, I moduled a simple spike (extrude boss) but, it won't let me linear pattern it over the cylinder, if I try I get this error

"linear pattern failed due to geometric conditions"

and... I'm stuck

I added the part

and a picture of it the blue arrows indicate the places on the cylinder that I'm trying to get with spikes

the red arrow is the small spike

...by the way guys, how would you go about in the drawing of such a part, giving measurments and such? I'm stumped...
