Hi,

I have been trying to install SolidWorks on a computer and the installation is taking up to 8 hours but will never complete.

At the 99% mark, an error appears saying "the installation manager could not find a file that is required for installation".

The file it is looking for is the swngre.dll file in c:\programfiles\solidworks\Scanto3d\addin

The file is there and the user has full permission on the file and folder.

Is there any other reason why this could be happeining and is there any solution?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
