Hello All,
I am doing more in-context designs and working on better handling of relations, etc.
BTW, I did search this topic.
I created a few parts with in-place mates to planes that I did not want - instead I wanted a parallel plane (but I don't see that as on option). Once the part was created, I deleted the in-place mate. Then, I re-mated the parts but I had to go back and edit my sketch are redefine what was removed upon my deletion of the in place mate.
So, I came up with an idea I have not yet tried:
I think it may be best to create a plane parallel to the one I want, and then create the new component. I think in this case I can simply move the plane after (if need be) and not kill all the initial work.
Anyone already doing this and what do you think? Any other ideas would be appreciated too.
Thank you.
