Hello all,
Here is my problem. I have a fairly simple geometry, think concave mirror. I want to create a sketch on plane tangent to the vertex of the geometry and then project this sketch onto the rear surface of the "mirror" for use in Split Line. I have done this manually but the ultimate model will have many contours within the sketch in which I want to project and split.
I have the pattern I want defined in Matlab, I have attached jpg of pattern. I currently have the 4 corners of each bounding countour defined in polar coordinates but can easily be swapped into cartesian.
How can I send this to SolidWorks with no user interaction? For example, I want to run my matlab script to create different patterns and load into SolidWorks.
I have seen some of the older information about Matlab COM objects through the forums, but I can not seem to find an answer to my question. Maybe I am missing something simple.
