I have drawn a five gore sheet metal elbow, but now I need tomate the five parts.
Unlike a saw cut through structural pipe, the edges are not flatsurfaces, because sheet metal in the real world will pucker on oneedge and draw in on the opposite.
Did I explain that right???
Now my problem is how do I mate these gores? I have a .010 seam ineach and I can mate two corners and that looks really good untilyou zoom in or check the final angle of the elbow and that leaves agap on the inside radius of the elbow, so now my 90 deg. angle issomewhere less than that.
What should I do???
