Historically we have used revision tables on our drawings, allowing the engineers to manually update and type the revised data such as revision letters, description of change, the releasing changenote number, date of change, approved by, etc, etc). Each time there is a change, the engineer would add a row on the table.
We have just had PDM standard installed and would like to ensure all/some of the PDM data (such as revision status, description of the change, approved by) are automatically populated to this revision table.
Ideally it should be able to 'add' a revision line on the table automatically.
Has anyone got any suggestions or best practices ??
