I use Solidworks and NX both and a feature I use often in NX, I cannot find within Solidworks. I would like to select a line and be able to find detailed information such as; vertex-1, vertex-2, length. In Solidworks I have to select each entity separately to get the same information.
For a plane or surface, I would like to see the location of a point on the selected surface along with a radius value if present, the I-J-K vector data normal to the WCS, surface area and perimeter distance.
I know Solidworks supplies some of this information but it is missing other pertinent information which is very helpful.
Also the competition displays this information in a separate dialog box which they allow you to save this information as a text file or copy and paste into another program.
Point being, there is valuable information that it would seem to be easily provided for various features which I have been unable to find within Solidworks.
